Hi, welcome!
My name is Irene, and I am the founder, owner, and operator of Tru Tea. I started Tru Tea in 2022, and after overcoming many hurdles and challenges, I finally opened in March 2024!
Tru Tea is an artisanal boba tea shop where everything—from our teas to our baked treats—is developed by me. Each item is crafted to my palate and standards. They are my creations, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
I brew my teas in small batches to maintain freshness, and the same goes for my baked goods. Everything is made on-site, from scratch—nothing premade.
My goal is to make it worth it—worth the calories and worth your money. At Tru Tea, you’re not getting syrup mixed into bitter water. Instead, you’ll enjoy freshly brewed tea infused with real fruit and sweetened with organic blue agave.
No powdered tea mixes. No non-dairy creamers. Ever. Not only do they taste bad, but I believe they’re unethical. Tru Tea’s boba milk teas are made with tea, brown sugar, and milk—simple, real ingredients. I even make our boba from scratch using imported tapioca flour and house-made brown sugar syrup.
We’re not flashy, we’re not chasing likes, and we won’t ask for reviews or social media posts. But when you walk in, we’ll greet you warmly, and when you leave, we’ll sincerely thank you.
